A note on guns

Guns will be referred to as one of three groups.

Sidearm - These are guns with six shots or fewer - the Maverick revolver, the Tek Six, the Nitefinder, the Double Shotgun and anything else that comes to mind.  The Rapid Fire rifle is also a sidearm, despite being larger than most of the main weapons, as it has a six-shot capacity and is a bitch to load and operate.  In investgative runs, these will often be your main weapons.  Also - the Maverick is the Best Gun In The Game.  There are four of them, all of which you can carry, and you can operate two at once if you have big hands (we do).  They give you an average of a shot every second with a twelve-shot capacity, and they look awesome.

Main Weapon - Anything with around ten shots falls into this catgeory; the Dart Tags, the Tek Tens, and the odd eight-round pump-action shotgun.  These are fairly servicable and reliable with a good ammo capacity.

Professional Weapon - Tommy 20s and Longshots (and, latterly, Recons) make up this section.  They are seriously useful pieces of equipment reserved for elite operatives.
